Branko Đurić (Djuric) also known by his nickname Đuro (Djuro), is an actor, director, screenwriter and musician, who lives in Ljubljana Slovenia and works in whole region of former Yugoslavia and worldwide.
Biography
He has starred in the Academy Award-winning film No Man’s Land (Djuric was nominated for the best European actor for that role) and has remarkable roles in numerous high-profile films, including, Time of Gypsies, Kuduz, Triage, The Fall of Rock and Roll, A Little Bit of Soul, In the Land of Blood and Honey, See You in Montevideo, La Prima notte della luna, Amatemi, Not So Friendly Neighborhood Affair, Cheese and Jam… and TV series as Top Lista Nadrealista, Montevideo vidimo se, Crimes, Slow Horses, Infamy…
He directed the most watched Slovenian movie Cheese and Jam, Tractor, Love and Rock&Roll. He wrote, directed and produced many TV shows, sitcoms, comercials, and created one of the most popular comedy series Naša mala klinika, which has spawned an entire franchise with Slovenian, Croatian and Serbian counterparts.
Djuric also made and still plays theatre show Djurologija which is the most played performance of all time at the former Yugoslavia region with over 700 reprises and more than 350.000 viewers.
He is also co-owner with Rene Bitorajac (acting partner from no Man’s Land) of Luda Kuća Zagreb the first private theater in Croatia and the whole region. Luda Kuća becomes the most visited theater in last few years becouse of many great comedies played in it.
